Almost famous
Got some photos published in Vice magazine. It's not exactly the Murdoch or Packer press, but it's better than a poke in the eye with a burnt stick!

Eureka Skydeck - first impressions
The Eureka Skydeck opened today.
Nice view, terrible place to take a photo from. Indoors are glarey and the view of the CBD is straight into the sun for much of the day. Severe glare on a cloudy day, in bright sunlight I'd imagine it'd be positively painful.
There's only one outdoor area and all views there are through wire, unlike Rialto where there are two outdoor decks and gaps to poke a camera through.
It also lacks the "amongst the city" feel of the Rialto deck. Still, can't complain about the price - the cash registers were broken so all the early types got let in for free this morning.
In summary: well worth a look, but it's no Rialto deck.
